The Cobra Back Foundation (CBF) was founded to fill voids within communities by creating opportunities for growth,
connection, education, and empowerment. Founded by E. Dixon, a dedicated civil servant in the City of Chicago since
2001, CBF is built on a lifelong commitment to serving residents, strengthening neighborhoods, and uplifting
communities through meaningful engagement.
Today, CBF expands that commitment through innovative programming such as the Inner-City RCP initiative —
which uses competitive STEM RC racing to build relationships between youth, police, and the community —
while also offering enlightenment and awareness courses designed to equip individuals and families with
practical life skills. Through education in financial literacy, de-escalation, home buying, scam and
phishing awareness, and credit building, CBF works to create informed, confident, and connected communities.
CBF remains focused on promoting community values, personal development, unity, safer neighborhoods, and
stronger partnerships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
